Top 20 Plant Pathology Journals with Impact Factor

In the first week of August Indian Botanists Blog-o-Journal published 'Top 20 Plant Science Journals in Google Scholar Metrics'. Here we are publishing top twenty journals of 'Plant Pathology' based on google scholar metrics.

Impact Factor -2012/2011 from the Journal Citation Report 2013/2012 as per availablity has been compiled to draw a co-relation between these two citation ranking. In the list of goggle scholar metrics Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions published by the American Phytopathological Society is on top position. However in the list, Annual Review of Phytopathology has maximum Impact Factor (10.229) and is second in position in google scholar metrics. There is no linear relationship between 'Google Scholar Metrics - h5 index and Impact Factor of Journal Citation Reports. Recently many scholars have advocated to redefine the metrics factor based on journals and articles citaion and sharing frequency on online social media. The list of top twenty journals (below) can be a reference to researchers to publish their next high impact research articles in the field of plant pathology. Remember it's your article and research quality which makes any journal shift up and down in any ranking list.
